We are looking for individuals with these traits to join our team of ABA therapists:

  • dedicated to helping people
  • nurturing, understanding, and are great with kids
  • willing to work varying hours to accommodate appointments
  • punctual to those appointments
  • comfortable performing in-home visits for ABA therapy
  • great communication skills
 

As an ABA therapist, you will work directly with individuals receiving therapy to provide behavioral interventions and support. This may involve:

  • creating and implementing behavior plans
  • teaching new skills and behaviors
  • collecting and analyzing data
  • collaborating with caregivers and other professionals

Continuing Education

Pounce provides free supervision for RBT candidates working towards their BCBA certification with no mandatory contractual agreement to remain with the company. BCBAs employed with Pounce have the opportunity to participate in a monthly ACE Event to earn 1-CEU.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

A Behavior Technician provides 1:1 behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based programs as directed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is performed in accordance with the plan of care under the direction and supervision of the BCBA.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

A BCBA conducts various descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments (e.g. functional analysis) and skill-based assessments (e.g. ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK, etc). The BCBA then provides behavior analytic interpretations of the results and designs comprehensive ABA treatment plans based off of the evidenced based practices and behavioral literature. The BCBA provides training and supervision to responsible parties tasked with implementation of behavioral programs and monitors treatment progress of clients through data-based treatment progress monitoring.
